Without question, Roy Moore was one of the most abhorrent candidates conceivable and Senator-elect Doug Jones ran a pitch-perfect campaign.
However, did you know that Jones had six times the advertising dollars on air? (And he still only won by a small margin.)
Jones’ ability to communicate—to let voters see who he is and what he stood for—was a crucial part of this victory.
An open seat currently held by a Republican, District 27 will play a huge role in determining whether Dems can take back the House and finally serve as a check on the Trump administration’s insanity. Winning this seat will also help block the attacks that Congressional Republicans are waging on our middle class.
The victories in Virginia, Alabama, and even right here with Senator Annette Taddeo will be duplicated across this state and nation… but only if Dems continue to step up.
